Brace yourselves...this may come as a shocker. Alas, I did not go to the shore this weekend! After conflicting schedules and a last minute cancellation, I decided to give myself the day off. I mean DAY OFF. There was no laundry, no vacuuming, no recaulking the shower, no hanging ceiling fans, no making clothing or refinishing furniture...you know, all that fun stuff I do in my free time.
Sunday was devoted to reading. Yup, all day reading for pleasure! Let me tell you, it was hard...I'm not one to sit still. I get antsy and feel useless if I'm not keeping busy. The forced relaxation was nice (once I got over the "I'm being a lazy ass")!!!
